You published your book. Or you’re almost there. You’ve spent months — maybe years — writing something you genuinely love, and now you’re hitting a wall you didn’t see coming.

Because writing the book was the part you knew how to do.

The launch is a different story.

You’ve probably heard that reviews matter. That launch week is everything. That without early readers already posting on launch day, your book just... sits there. Looking lonely. Looking unread. And the algorithm doesn’t care how good your story is.

Maybe you’ve looked into ARC agencies and done the math — $500 to $2,000, no guarantee the readers even read your genre, no refund if they don’t deliver. Maybe you’ve posted in a few Facebook groups and felt weird about it. Maybe someone mentioned review swapping and you instinctively knew that felt wrong.

And maybe you’re wondering if there’s a better way. A way that doesn’t cost a fortune, doesn’t require you to beg strangers, and doesn’t put your Amazon account at risk.

There is. And I built it myself!

What happened when I followed my own system

I delayed publishing my first book because I had no idea how to launch it. I spent thousands of dollars learning from other authors — and most of them didn’t have a clear plan for someone starting from absolute zero. I pieced together what I could, built my own version, tested it on my own debut novel, and watched it work beyond anything I expected.

Here’s what I walked away with:

  • 900+ ARC applications from genre-matched readers who actually wanted my book

  • 1,700+ email subscribers — built in less than 30 days

  • 300+ Goodreads reviews before my launch week ended

  • 100+ Amazon reviews in my first week live

  • $0 paid to any agency

All organic. No NetGalley. No Book Sprout. No paid ads.

Is this for you?

Maybe you’re a debut author and the thought of hitting publish to silence — no reviews, no readers, no buzz — genuinely keeps you up at night. You’ve worked too hard on this book to let it disappear.

Maybe you already launched to crickets and you’re not letting it happen again. You know now how much reviews matter. You know what it feels like to refresh your Amazon page and see nothing. This time, you’re doing it right.

Maybe you have another book coming and you want a repeatable system — not just for this launch, but for every single launch after it. You want a growing email list of readers who love your genre and are eager for your next release.

If any of that sounds like you — keep reading.

The 3 mistakes that kill debut launches

Paying an agency that doesn’t know your reader

Most debut authors assume the professional move is to hire a PR or ARC agency. So they hand over $500, $1,000, sometimes more — and wait. What they get back are reviews from readers who don’t read their genre, don’t care about their tropes, and wouldn’t pick up their book in a bookstore. The reviews are thin. The launch is still quiet. And the money is gone.

Your ideal reader didn’t write those reviews — a stranger did.

Launching without a review strategy at all

Some authors skip the agency and just... launch. They hit publish, post on Instagram, and refresh their Amazon page waiting for reviews that never come. A book with 3 reviews looks abandoned. A book with 0 looks like it was published by accident. Readers use reviews as social proof before they buy — and without them, even a great book gets scrolled past.

You only get one launch day. There’s no do-over.

Posting in Facebook groups — or worse, swapping reviews

When authors get desperate, they post in reader groups asking strangers to review their book. These readers aren’t vetted, don’t know your genre, and almost never follow through. And some go further — swapping reviews with other authors. This isn’t just ineffective. It’s against Amazon’s Terms of Service. Your reviews can be removed. Your account can be flagged.

The shortcut costs you more than the problem ever did.

There’s a better system. And it starts 30–60 days before your release date in a pinch, even further out gives you more runway to get an even bigger launch!

Introducing: The ARC Reviewer Engine

The ARC Reviewer Engine is a step-by-step course that walks you through building your own team of genre-matched ARC readers — AND a growing email list — before your book launches. No agencies. No begging. No guesswork.

Here’s a broad overview of everything that’s inside:

Step 1: Set Up Your Professional Author Email

Value: $47

Before anything else, you need an email address that doesn’t get flagged as spam and why this one step makes everything that follows actually work.

Step 2: Build Your Email Marketing System

Value: $97

The home where your ARC team and your reader email list will live. I’ll show you exactly how to set it up, create your subscriber groups, and configure it so everything runs automatically while you sleep.

Step 3: Create Your Reader-Attractor

Value: $97

This is the secret weapon that makes the whole funnel work. I’ll show you how to capture emails AND funnel readers into your ARC application — all from a single Google Doc. What to include, how to format it, the exact CTA at the bottom that moves readers to apply.

Step 4: Build Your ARC Application

Value: $77

Not all ARC readers are created equal. This step is how you find the ones who will actually show up and review. I’ll give you my exact application questions — the ones that screen for genre fit, reading pace, and review intent — so you stop sending your book to people who ghost you. Includes my complete application template, a Canva branding template, and the free book mockup tool I use.

Step 5: Launch Your Email Landing Page + Automation

Value: $147

This landing page — not the ARC application — is what you share publicly. It captures emails from everyone who’s interested, not just the ones who apply. I’ll show you how to build it in your email service (no website needed), write the welcome email, and set up the automation that delivers assets instantly.

Step 6: The TikTok Keyword Strategy That Fills Your Application

Value: $147

This is what took me from 0 to 900+ ARC applications. I’ll show you exactly how to use a keyword that gets people inside your system so TikTok doesn’t suppress your reach. Includes the scripts, comment variation templates, and what to do if TikTok suppresses your account.

(Don’t want to be on TikTok? The email funnel and ARC application system works independently of TikTok. You can drive traffic from Instagram, Facebook, your existing email list, or anywhere your readers already hang out. TikTok is a tool, not a requirement.)

BONUS: Application Management + ARC Delivery Walkthrough

Value: $97

Once applications are coming in, you need a system to manage them — without spending hours on admin. I’ll show you how to upload applicants into your email service weekly, send your ARC approval emails automatically, and deliver your ebook to hundreds of readers using a book delivery tool.

BONUS: The Completion Tracking System

Value: $47

This is the secret to actually getting reviews posted — not just downloaded. I’ll show you how to add a finish-line form to the back of your ARC copy, how to use it to identify who finished vs. who ghosted, and the surprise strategy that got 433 out of the 569 people who actually downloaded their ARC’s, to complete and submit their reviews. That means 76% of my readers finished the ARC!

The Complete Email Template Library — 20 Done-For-You Templates

Value: $197

Every email you need, already written. From the welcome email to launch week nudges to “I haven’t seen your review yet” follow-ups — 20 templates covering every stage of your ARC campaign. Each template includes my actual sent version alongside a customizable bracket version you can make your own.

Total value: $1,194. Your investment: $197.

That’s less than what most authors spend on a single agency that doesn’t know their genre — and delivers zero guaranteed results. And unlike an agency fee, this system is yours to keep. You can use it for every book you publish.

But here’s what I didn’t expect

You came for the ARC team. But here’s what else happens when you follow this system:

The Sneaky Early Review Trick. Amazon won’t let readers leave reviews until your ebook is live — or so most authors think. I’ll show you a completely legitimate way to get Amazon review links active before your ebook publishes, so your ARC readers can post the moment they finish. This one trick alone, if I had implemented it fully, would have unlocked 200 or more Amazon reviews instead of the 100+ I had during launch week.

A growing email list of eager readers. I gained 1.700+ subscribers before my book even released because I used this system. Not just the emails from your ARC team — every interested reader. By the time you launch, you have a growing list of readers who asked to hear from you. That list is yours to keep, forever, for every book you write.

A reader community that carries forward. I’ll show you how the same email traffic that builds your ARC team also builds an engaged reader community — where you can run cover reveals, Q&As, polls, and announcements that keep your audience warm between books.

Frequently asked questions

When should I start this process? Ideally 30–60 days before your release date. The earlier you start, the more time you have to grow your team, and the more time your ARC readers have to finish and review. That said, even starting 3–4 weeks out can still yield strong results if you move quickly.

Do I need TikTok? No. The email funnel and ARC application system works independently of TikTok. TikTok is the fastest driver of volume, but you can drive traffic from any platform. TikTok is a tool, not a requirement.

What if I don’t want to show my face? The system works with faceless content too. Many authors use voiceover + text slides, or book aesthetic content, rather than appearing on camera.

Will this work if my book is already published? Yes! I actually included a specific video walking you through how to use this system for an existing book. Whether you're building your review base for a book that's already live or setting yourself up for your next launch — this works either way.

What platforms do I need? An Author-specific email (~$7/month), an email service provider (free up to 500 subscribers), Google Forms (free), a book delivery tool (~$20/month), and Canva (free). Total cost outside of book delivery is minimal — and book delivery is optional until you’re ready to deliver ARCs at scale.

How long do I have access? Lifetime access. Every update I make to the course is included at no extra charge.

Is this Amazon-safe? Yes. Every strategy inside the ARC Reviewer Engine is fully legal, ethical, and Amazon-compliant. No review swapping. No fake reviews. No gray-area tactics.

One thing I want to be upfront about

I don’t offer refunds on the ARC Reviewer Engine — and I want to say that directly.

If you’re here, you’ve probably been following my content for a while. You know how I teach. This course is the most complete version of everything I used to launch my own debut novel — and the results speak for themselves.

Every step is documented. Every email is written. Every tool is walked through.

This course is for authors who are ready to do the work. If that’s you, I’m confident you’ll walk away with more than you expected. If you’re still on the fence, I’d rather you wait until you’re sure — than buy before you’re ready.

Your book deserves a real launch.

You didn’t spend months (or years) writing this story just to publish it to silence.

You deserve readers who are excited. Reviews that are waiting. An email list that actually wants your next book.

The ARC Reviewer Engine gives you the exact system — what to do, when to do it, and what to say — so you arrive on launch day with momentum instead of crickets.

This isn’t just a launch strategy. It’s the foundation of a readership you’ll carry from book to book to book.
